Meet Elizabeth Amatangelo

Elizabeth Amatangelo

Home Town: Grass Valley, California, USA

Elizabeth Amatangelo was born and raised in California. She currently lives in a small mountain community in Northern California. Not even Elizabeth would have guessed that she’d get married and have a baby at the age of 20, but becoming a young mom to Audrey (6), Natalie (4) and Adam (7 months) was the best thing that could have ever happened to her! She put her career as a hairstylist on hold after the birth of her third child and is now a full time mom. Finding herself continually being asked for advice by friends, coworkers and clients, she realizes that she knows a lot about this thing called parenting.

Elizabeth is a natural childbirth advocate (but completely understands that it isn’t for everyone!) and a strong supporter of breastfeeding. Elizabeth believes in consistent discipline and creating a calm and loving home environment. She blogs about the joys and challenges of motherhood with tips and suggestions mixed in.

After cramming in a full day of laundry, housework, cooking, diaper changes and trying to keep her sanity, Elizabeth likes to read, shop, garden, engage in compulsive home improvement, check Facebook way more than she should, and watch television with her husband after the kids go to bed. Elizabeth may not get enough sleep but surprise hugs from her kids, toothless baby grins, and her love affair with coffee help her through the day.
